Research Status

1.Network Architecture: In response to the scalability issues of the routing system caused by the growth in the scale of the Internet, research has been conducted on the evaluation of inter-domain routing scalability, the routing table aggregation mechanism, and the new inter-domain routing structure to improve the scalability of inter-domain routing. In terms of the inter-domain routing control mechanism of the Internet, based on the software-defined network model, research has been carried out on the fine-grained policy routing control mechanism for multi-domain collaboration to enhance the flexibility of inter-domain routing management and control.

2.Network Measurement and Optimization: Based on the programmable data plane, research on high-performance network measurement mechanisms is carried out with the aim of achieving flexible and efficient measurement and perception of network status and traffic behavior. By integrating measurement and perception data, detection and optimization in terms of network performance and security are conducted.

3.Internet Routing and Topology: The Internet is an important global information infrastructure. The measurement and analysis of the Internet topology and routing are conducive to network operation and research on network protocols. The main research focuses on: (1) Combining the measurement data of the forwarding plane to detect and infer the inter-domain routing and interconnection relationships; (2) Detecting abnormal behaviors of inter-domain routing on the Internet.
