Bachelor of Computer Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, 1989

Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects

Internet Resources Management; Distributed Systems; Internet Security.

Research Status

I have been doing R&D in Network Technology, Engineering and Application. In the past decades, I have been undertaking several network projects, such as National CIMS-ERC Net, Tsinghua Campus Network of NCFC, CERNET, NSFCNET, and CERNET2, and got much experience from real network operations.
I have been responsible for the overall resources, system and security administration and operations of CERNIC - China Education and Research Network Information Center, which provides Internet addressing services and EDU.CN registry services to China education and research institutes since 1994. I was ever a member of Internet Policy and Resource Committee, Internet Society of China.
